Primary Responsibilities :

Lead and provide guidance to delivery teams by ensuring the alignment of delivery level strategies with enterprise architecture vision

Utilizes design principles to derive information from system complexity and through use design patterns, draws actionable conclusions of cost and impact

Provides conceptual designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and strategic direction of business goals

Understands their ownership and responsibility for service delivery and the supportive preferred technologies

Understands and demonstrates capability with one or more architectural or service delivery framework

Seeks to understand customer’s acceptance of proposed solutions and how it best meets or exceeds their needs

Demonstrates awareness of critical security, scalability, reliability and feasibility design concepts

Evaluates service areas to identify opportunities for automation

Stays current with evolving technologies

Finds alternative approaches to avoid barriers and eliminates unneeded interdependencies

Communicates and negotiates direction with leadership and technical stakeholders

Utilizes governance where and when needed to support project or customer requirements

Researches emerging technology that will optimize or automate systems, evaluates feasibility and recommends solution, ensuring automation is delivering business value

Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and / or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and / or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and / or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of full lifecycle development experience in open source with strong experience in Microservices architecture
  • Solid understanding of architectural patterns, design patterns and hands-on knowledge in applying these concepts to practical problems
  • Experience in building applications using web technologies (Angular / React), backend technologies (.Net, Informatica), API (REST), microservices
  • Experience in working with distributed systems and building / maintaining highly available applications and services, preferably on a cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or other hybrid cloud environment
  • Experience in building and managing micro-services-based applications, with a solid understanding of the challenges presented by the architecture including inter-service communication, service discovery, distributed log collection, monitoring and independent scaling of services, etc.
  • Understanding of API gateways, API lifecycle management and Hands-on experience in building, designing, and using web services, preferably REST APIs
  • Familiarity with multiple technology domains and applies knowledge to drive enterprise direction
