Job Description Summary
Order Fulfilment Manager is responsible for ensuring that the specified scope (package / material) is completely delivered at the required location at right time as per contractual requirement.
Manage the fulfilment process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets.
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

Role & Responsibilities
Ensures that all Progress reports are received from the suppliers in the correct form at the correct time . Order Fulfillment Manager shall review the report and further providehis / her comments.
Shall lead or participate in Kick Off Meeting (depending on depending on applicable SourcingDoA definition for a type of project : Steam or Nuclear) to define the co-ordination procedure for Expediting set up.
Shall ensure that the Contractor's baseline schedule is available for tracking andmonitoring.
Actively supports engineering & quality discipline for expediting of critical documentation and required input (e.g. timely and accurate update of GE databases e.
g. controlplans,etc.).OrderFulfillment Manager shall also review and monitor critical documents submittal andapprovalstatus with Engineering and Quality function for timely release of Manufacturing clearance to meet "Ontime delivery"target.
Ensures that order fulfillment plans (desk & physical intervention) are prepared, maintainedand updated in timely fashion.
Expedites the suppliers for progress of packages allocated for hisscope including co-ordination with internal disciplines to meet the project on-time deliveries.
Checks progress by conducting supplier visits / walk downs (also unannounced, if there is suspicionof irregularities) at the manufacturer's premises and their suppliers, on the manufacturing shop floors.
PLAN-vs.-ACTUAL comparative analysis of manufacturing planning, raw material procurement and
actual manufacturing activities. Order Fulfillment Manager shall share Expediting Visit Reports timely with the Project Team.
Notify the supplier of the delay, inform Project and Sourcing stakeholders and require supplier to come back to the contractual agreed schedule using all available contractual and commercial leverages.
Works with the suppliers to overcome delays with a concurred mitigation plan .
Shall highlight any bottlenecks reported by Supplier as "Areas ofconcern".
Shall provide MTA User Guide to Supplier for better understanding of the tool. All MTA related queries during execution shall be addressed by Order Fulfillment Manager with support of individualfunction / MTA key user.
Shall support Buyer / PPLM for claim management in case of supplier delays or timeextensiontobe issued where delay is not attributable to supplier.
Order Fulfillment Manager to issue relevant notifications to supplier for delays. Order Fulfillment Manager to support Buyer for issuing Contractual Letters toSuppliers.
Shall be responsible for GRN to be entered in PMX and ensure it reflects accurateOTO.
Support Lead Order Fulfillment Manager to estimate the budget for order fulfillment activitieswhen required.
Shall provide standard Order Fulfillment requirement to Buyer for incorporation in PurchaseOrder.
Shall discuss & prepare Overall Time Schedule with Supplier prior to Order Placement of major orders.
Shall provide Supplier Performance feedback to Buyer / CommodityLeader.
Shall follow all Processes & Tools related to order fulfillment activities

Order Fulfilment Manager is measured on :
On-time complete delivery of specified material / package as per PO .
Accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
Successful close out of identified mitigation actions.
Adherence to the global processes and tools as applicable forexpediting
To make decisions and issue instructions in his / her scope related to on time deliveryofproject deliverables in consultation with stakeholders for the area pfresponsibility
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
7+ year of relevant experience
