Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Application Development Teams are responsible for writing required application specifications and using programming various languages and development tools to design, build, test, implement, and support web and desktop applications.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Understand and leverage TE’s technology stack of, Eloqua, MuleSoft and related technologies.
  • Provide technical direction to development teams based in Bangalore, both internal and vendor partners.
  • Liaison between TE SFDC Architects and developers to translate strategies into robust solutions
  • Design and develop technical proposals, usability studies, software evaluations, technical qualifications and buy vs. build recommendations as needed
  • Serve as a technical advisor and influence TE in optimizing the use of our product suite to deliver solutions for sales, marketing and customer service business areas.
  • Partner with various teams including other eBusiness teams, operations (I&O), database, network and security to design, implement, maintain, and monitor systems
  • Work with a variety of vendor platforms and custom developed solutions.
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt and learn emerging technologies in this space. Challenge self and team to innovate and keep up with market trends.
  • Competencies & Experience Required / Desired :


  • Around 10 years of IT experience with minimum 6 years on platform.
  • Experience in marketing automation tools like Eloqua, Marketo or Pardot.
  • Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Salesforce Lightning, Community, and App Clouds
  • Salesforce development experience including strong working knowledge and ability to code APEX (classes, triggers and web services), Lightning Framework, Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, and
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Salesforce architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce application including configuration, triggers, process builders, workflows, visual force, apex coding, lightning components, batch processes, and database design.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce data model, custom objects, visual force pages, workflows, and configuration.
  • Experience leading Agile development teams to design and implement innovative solutions with a focus on adhering to standards, best practices, and code quality techniques.
  • Must be Salesforce Certified Developer or Salesforce Certified Architect
  • Excellent organization, verbal / written communication. Must be able to build relationships and communicate technology direction effectively to peers, developers and other IT teams.
  • Must be able to occasionally travel worldwide and flex daily work schedule to allow for time-zone differences for global team communications.
  • Educational Required / Desired :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or Engineering OR equivalent experience and knowledge required.
