Build confidence in data quality & data flows by leading evolution of data quality framework

  • Be the SME enabling harmonious liquidity risk outcomes via data quality medium with deep engagement from different stakeholder groups across Treasury / Finance / Technology
  • Centrally coordinate end to end data quality issue resolution lifecycle such as identification of gaps, impact assessment, prioritization, budgeting, solution delivery and benefits tracking.
  • Represent Treasury in the strategic data sourcing program and actively manage the transition between short term data quality resolution and strategic roadmap
  • Operationalize the consistent use of internal data within Treasury / Finance to achieve standardisation and centralization.
  • Deliver tactical solutions for critical data issues with primary focus on regulatory reporting accuracy, liquidity optimization and ensure that solutions are scalable, aligned to strategic roadmap.

  • Support implementation of new process and roll out of new products within existing infrastructure. Where gaps are identified, ensure that the requirements are captured for strategic fixes and tactical fixes are fit for purpose.
  • Drive standardisation of configurations to minimise operational risks

  • Review data transformation logic, identify Transaction data feed gaps and ensure these are tracked and fixed strategically via the Data Sourcing project
  • Establish a framework for configuration management within the Balance Sheet Management infrastructure and reporting layers by reviewing and aligning existing methodologies
  • Review product mappings (include / exclude mappings and secondary product groupings) applied by the business across all their reports.
  • Identify inconsistencies and drive standardisation.

    Drive operational efficiency within Regulatory and Treasury reporting processes

  • Engage with Treasury Risk and operations to automate existing reporting processes and identify opportunities for centralised reporting solutions that ultimately reduce production burden for Treasury - Risk teams
  • Identify opportunities to reduce the number of manual adjustments being made around the group as part of reporting processes through automation
  • Our Ideal Candidate

    Functional Experience and Knowledge :

  • In depth knowledge of the Treasury - Markets business practices, methodologies, products and operational processes particularly in Basel III regulations (Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Net Stable Funding Ratio, CFMR)
  • Ability to accurately gather, document and present requirements, processes, booking models and functional designs to a high quality
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to network and influence decisions within the business and within infrastructure / support teams
  • Good business judgment with experience in operational control and risk assessment within a multifunctional and multicultural team environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to varying levels of management
  • Fast learner with a strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • An inquisitive challenge the status quo approach to existing practices and procedures
  • Works independently, strategic thinker and with a macro dimensional view of the business
  • Technical Experience and Knowledge :

  • Excellent capability to use Excel for data analysis.
  • Query Bank systems using SQL
  • Prior experience with Balance Sheet Management platforms (Moody’s Analytics, QRM, Oracle, etc.) or booking platforms (Murex, Kondor, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Product Knowledge

  • Essential : ALM, Trading Book and Commercial Book products
  • Preferred Educational Qualifications :

  • Graduate (Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Science) / MBA, PG Diploma or related degree in Banking / Finance / Statistics or any quantitative field from an institute of repute
  • Professional Qualification like CA / CIMA
  • Certifications like FRM / CFA / PRM
  • Graduates with relevant work experience in the above-mentioned areas will also be considered.
