The Chegg Talent Acquisition Team is the lean driving force behind our recruiting brand, culture, and initiatives. Recruiters leverage their business acumen and influencing skills to provide consulting and guidance to other leaders across Chegg.
This person will be well versed in the recruiting lifecycle, candidate generation, and candidate closing for technical (e.
g. : software developers, data engineers, Analysts, etc.) and non-technical (Subject Mater Experts, Project Coordinators, etc.) opportunities.
The Role : This senior member of the Chegg Talent Acquisition Team is expected to drive strategies for candidate attraction and closing.
You must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to meet goals.

Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage expectations
Manage a team of high performing recruitment team which includes commitment setting and performance management
Build and drive strategies around the recruiting lifecycle candidate generation, attraction, assessment, and closing and maintain an active pipeline of candidates across a variety of positions
Understand how to recruit passive candidates and possess the ability early on to profile people, gauge fit, and understand their motivation, rather than just focusing on selling and filling a role
Drive the right balance of recruiter and hiring manager accountability for effectively moving through the full recruitment cycle
Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management
Prioritize multiple tasks of the team and self in a fast paced, high volume environment
Partner with hiring managers to drive clear job descriptions and clear position requirements.
Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company
Represent Chegg at internal and external recruiting events
8+ years total progressive recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting
Prior experience of handling a team of high performing recruiters
Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, and interview process management
Be a self-starter at initiatives, go-getter with an affinity with data and should be able to take decisions based upon facts and support it with data. SLA management
Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Ability to communicate and present to all levels of leadership
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
