Duties & responsibilities
Independently develops, executes and monitors complex data management / analytic processes to support ad hoc data and information delivery for assigned projects.
Spearheads development of ETL code, metadata definitions and models, queries and reports, schedules, work processes and maintenance procedures and proactively identifies opportunities to optimize the performance and efficiency of existing processes / procedures.
Mentors less experienced analysts on proper standards / techniques to improve their accuracy and efficiency.
Perform the unit testing, system integration testing and assist with user acceptance testing.
Articulates business requirements in sufficient detail such that a technical solution can be designed and engineered.
Develops technical understanding of how the data flows from various source systems and source types to a modelled database solution in the data warehouse after series of transformations and data manipulations.
Consults with the business to develop documentation and communication materials to ensure accurate usage and interpretation of JLL data.
Support the daily ETL process across multiple countries to ensure that batch processes are successful and meet the SLAs for the execution and data delivery.
Identifies and acquires new data sources, performs data discovery to understand data values and relationships, and develops prototype solutions to deliver immediate business value.
Be as member of the offshore EDW COE team working very closely with the global EDW team on a day-to-day basis and larger TDIM organization located geographically in the EMEA region.
Providing production support, documentation of best practices, provide input to the technical solution to build re-usable and scalable ETL modules.
JLL, an international real estate management company, is looking for Senior Analyst who is self-starter to work in a diverse and fast-
paced environment for joining our Data Management team for EMEA region.
Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in the fields of information science, data management and / or computer science.
Strong Informatica Power Center (3 Plus years) & IDQ skills with SQL server & Control M background. Besides these skills if the candidate has background on dealing with Python, handling unstructured data would be a plus.
Fair knowledge of job scheduling and job monitoring on enterprise scheduling software tools like CTLM or SQL server job schedulers.
Experience with data architecture, data integration / ETL, data warehousing, and / or business intelligence deployed in a complex environment.
Experience in working with databases especially SQL server databases.
Understanding of data and systems engineering concepts to effectively integrate and analyze data to develop actionable business information deliverables.
Good knowledge & practice on SQL server concepts and writing complex T-SQL queries. Must be able to do database procedure maintenance in SQL server databases
Should be capable of independently exploring solutions and the ability to learn new technologies such as cloud sources, Microsoft Azure, Informatica Cloud, Informatica DIH etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a quantitative discipline in science, business, or social science.
Advance degree preferred.
Able to think logically, organize workflows efficiently, and solve problems independently.
Reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
Capability to self-learn new software applications and programming languages.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
Excellent technical, analytical and organizational skills. Project management skills desired.
