Key Roles & Responsibilities
Engages with stakeholders to define requirements and usage needs for the measurement of data quality for a specific region or part of a business.
Undertakes ownership for the on-going delivery of data quality measurement activities with a concentrated focus on a specific region or part of a business.
On identification of data quality issues, performs analysis and escalates for next level review to remediate the issue and achieve high quality data.
Performs testing of defined use cases on new technology and deliver results on data tasks performed; identifies sources or errors.
Performs basic root cause analysis on smaller self-contained data analysis tasks that may be related to assigned projects or other unfamiliar projects.
Delivers testing of defined use cases as part of data audits on new data vendors.
Delivers data quality processes to assure S&P Ratings compliance against regulatory requirements.
Performs data queries to identify and drive correction of data inconsistencies.
Develop automation / performance scripts that meet organization standards and build reliable, reusable and maintainable automated regression suites & test harness
Leverage tools and frameworks to build automation / performance scripts with quality code to simplify testing scenarios
Design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications, execute test cases and analyze and report test results to the teams
Participate in internal / cross team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, test specifications, technical reviews for assigned projects in an Agile environment
Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities
Capture quality assurance data and metrics to provide insights and conclusions
Estimate and perform risk analysis for quality delivery

Minimum and Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum and Preferred Experience / Skills
3-4 years of experience in a data operations role - experience in a data quality role would be an advantage. Or 3 - 4 years of Experience in software testing or development with good understanding of testing, coding and debugging procedures.
Experience in Data Visualization, Data Analytics and have knowledge of data analysis and data manipulation products e.g.
Advanced Excel, SQL, Oracle database, data extraction tools, QlikSense, ETL, Python, Experience in programming using Python / Java or other languages
Experience in design and development of automated tests using automation tools across the application layers (UI / Service / Data layers) and root cause analysis
Experience in advising team to identify automatable test cases at different layers (UI, Services and Data layer tests). Ability to working with developers to build automation / performance friendly code is highly desirable
Experience in developing Test Plans and Test Cases, engage in Exploratory Testing, creating and maintaining Defect Reports
Demonstrate ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong communication skills and ability to deliver clear, concise documentation and presentations
