The ideal candidature for this position is for managing and utilizing CVENT’s Marketing database for lead generation across various sales product divisions.
Person would be responsible for extracting, analyzing, importing and reporting CVENT marketing database. Person should be able to understand and manipulate data, develop database architectures, process flows, and optimize SQL queries to comply with CVENT’s rapidly-
evolving business and campaign requirements.
The ideal candidate should have a sound knowledge of SQL, MSBI (SSIS / SSRS) would be a plus, business analysis skill, analytical skills and reporting skills.
Proven experience in leveraging knowledge while accomplishing CVENT’s marketing objectives. Sr. Associate - Database marketing will work as an individual contributor in Database Marketing team.
The end goal of the Database Marketing Team is high quality lead generation through optimized use of the CVENT’s extensive marketing database.
The candidate will be responsible to manage Marketing campaigns, campaign performance & other data KPIs.
Job profile also includes developing and maintaining reports on campaign success, lead conversion, data quality and effectiveness of lead sources.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of data structures as they relate to CRM systems and marketing campaigns.
What You Will Be Doing
Provide SQL & Marketing database expertise for all current projects within the team portfolio.
Support on-boarding new projects via requirement gathering, planning, documentation and successful execution.
Drive process re-engineering within current projects via analysis & automation.
Combining quantitative analysis and qualitative research into development.
Supplement Cvent prospect and / or customer data for a successful campaign execution.
Focus on effective campaign segmentation and campaign performance measures.
Lead independent research and analysis and writing reports.
Importing, analyzing and extracting data / information by using SSMS / MS SQL Server.
Fair understanding of various marketing platforms like Marketo, Salesforce and other CRM systems.
Promote data driven marketing culture.
What You Will Need for this Position
3-5 years of relevant professional work experience
Experience working with large amounts of data : facts, figures, and number crunching. Scanning details and analyze data to find conclusions.
Excellent analytical and logical ability to relate and conclude findings.
Ability to present their findings and / or translate the data into an understandable document.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with experience explaining complex ideas or issues
Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
Must be comfortable with numbers, trends and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
Ability to be vigilant in their analysis to come to correct conclusions.
Attention to detail, focus on deadline and ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
Sound knowledge & experience in SQL along with Marketing database management.
MS Office Suite (Excel / Word / PPT etc.)
