Nokia Software Application Services & Care Global Services Center is looking for a Head for GSD Digital Operations. The main responsibilities of this position are
Defining and maintaining a standard work package list to be executed by the team and that meets the needs of AS&C Digital Operations portfolio with respect to SW customization, integration and validation up to care handover.
Executing work packages within its scope of work as per market demand, support customized work package estimation during presales
Managing and developing team of services experts in India, Malaysia, Romania, Bulgaria, Spain and Portugal.
Driving workforce strategy within his scope and dimensioning of workforce to meet the current and future demand in conjunction with defining and executing on subcontracting strategy
Building and ensuring right competences in the team to meet the current and future demand
Driving margin improvement through standardization, innovation and automation within its scope of work
Identify and cooperate closely with other AS&C functions and Digital Operations engineering to drive efficiencies within GSD scope, including standardization and automation as well as competence or process related synergies.
High technical skills are appreciated but emphasis is also put on other qualities such as leadership skills, cooperation skills, communication, efficiency and pro-activity.
This position requires a candidate who possess the following knowledge, experience, skills and qualities :
Good understanding / knowledge of software development and integration activities and process. Knows both waterfall and agile approach and ability to conduct change management.
Requires experience in delivering heavy customized software in a project. Candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge in project management, statement of work, risk mitigations, and conflict resolution.
Previous experiences on Provisioning, Assurance and Inventory products in Telecommunications OSS industry.
Has successfully managed global software development and delivery teams
As all products comes in different forms in the market, the candidate must have the passion to identify the value of Nokia products in GSD Digital Operations and focused on bridging technical challenges to ensure the value is seen.
Self-motivated and self-driven person who can yield business outcomes and results with minimal supervision
A successful track record as a leader, developer and manager of people and talent; demonstrated experience to attract, retain and develop strong talent and build a positive organizational and team culture (empowerment, collaboration, coaching and transparency)

Ability to understand and interpret Nokia offerings and influence all parties, both internally and externally the value Nokia brings to an end-user in the customer.
Certified in Agile Practice : - Scrum, SAFe.
