  • This is a key leadership and strategic role within the Procurement Function, reporting into the CPO or CPO LT, with overall accountability in the following 4 areas :
  • Bring in the required expertise across the Professional Services categories such as Consulting, Legal, Insurance, Tax, Finance and M&
  • A to deliver significant benefits to Genpact in strategic sourcing engagements.

  • This is a global role, hence the incumbent would need to understand global strategic sourcing and should be able to establish vendor connects across regions.
  • Lead the Procurement Organization to deliver the results defined by the procurement plan in support of the broader business requirements.
  • Execute the Procurement transformation strategy across all geographies.
  • Lead a high - performance culture and ensure accurate implementation of leading edge procurement capabilities to become a world-class procurement Organization
  • R esponsibilities

  • This Candidate will have responsibility for managing all the Procurement Operations activities and teams, which include : VGO, Customs, Spend Analytics and Reporting, building of Procurement Capabilities and processes and the Shared Service Centre.
  • The candidate must be a graduate in finance, engineering or supply chain management with preferably a post graduate degree
  • Must have handled a procurement shared service center managing transactional and buying activities
  • should have some experience of leading customs in India (not essential but preferred)
  • should have managed a vendor governance process
  • Qualification Minimum qualifications

  • Experience in sourcing categories such as : Consulting Legal Tax M&A Insurance Finance
  • Knowledge of supplier market
  • Experience crafting category strategy and leading supplier negotiations
  • Proven track record of leading large, complex, category management activities at enterprise level including multi geographies.
  • Ability to use a range of influencing techniques at senior levels within an organisation
  • Consistent record of delivering savings
  • Preferred Qualification

  • Good analytical and financial skills
  • Proficiency in Procurement and other business related systems e.g. Oracle, Ariba etc
  • Ability and experience of mentoring in category management best practice
