Enterprise Applications team

In this role, you will be part of our Enterprise Applications team, responsible end to end for Nokia's applications’ portfolio, used across all Business Groups and Functions.

Our current mission is to simplify and modernize our application portfolio and to transform into a fast moving, product-oriented and customer-focused technology organization.

Within EA you will be part of Automation CoE which delivers Automation ensuring bene fits to Nokia's Business Groups and Functions via Automation levers like RPA, Orchestration combined with intelligent algorithms, Data Processing (IDP - NLP), Intelligent Agents & Product specific automation (e.

g. for SAP - Winshuttle); Automated Data Migration, among others.

The Head of Automation Project Delivery will be responsible for delivery of automation use cases across varied technologies & platforms such as Robotic Process Automation (using Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, MS Power Platform, UiPath etc.

Cloud Native Solutions (Google, Azure cloud), Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Solutions (using IQBot, ABBYY etc.

SAP Automation solutions (Winshuttle) , Orchestration solutions and other custom automation solutions. S / he will be a result-oriented leader and an innovative thinker with experience in working in large matrix organizations

The Head of Automation Project Delivery will own the delivery factory by engaging with Product Managers within Automation CoE team and Nokia’s internal customers in various Business Groups & Corporate Functions to deliver automation use cases in the Automation solution portfolio and reporting to Head of Automation CoE.

The ideal candidate will be hands on and possess understanding of Automation technologies. S / he would have a keen interest in other complementing technologies e.

g. Machine learning, Natural Language Processing, Pattern Recognition and text analytics.

Responsibilities :

  • Review and refine Automation Technology Delivery Strategy and roadmap periodically and drive execution of the same
  • Owns & drive simultaneous delivery of multiple automation programs and projects of varying duration by managing resources, schedules, customers, risks / dependencies, and change,
  • Monitor & govern the customer engagement to drive on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction KPIs
  • Generate trust with stakeholders by exceeding expectations in terms of on time delivery & quality every time
  • Drive software development lifecycle activities across programs & projects maintaining high software quality with a focus on exceeding customer expectations
  • Engage with Enterprise Applications & Automation CoE Product Managers (Business Partners) and Nokia internal Business Groups and Corporate Functions teams to prioritise and plan the delivery of automation use cases
  • Provide leadership, direction, coaching / mentoring to project managers and project teams, both within internal Automation CoE development factory & other Nokia internal technology delivery teams
  • Understand Nokia’s Project Methodology and manage program and project budgets, costs & sourcing activities
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors / partners to ensure delivery of use cases
  • Continuously evolve existing delivery methodologies & processes to support Community / Citizen, Mixed-mode (citizen+pro dev) and ProDev software development models
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are followed and work to improve whenever appropriate and necessary
  • Identify the training needs of the team and contribute towards enhancing the skill levels and productivity levels of the team
  • Lead / participate in relevant governance forums. Provide operational & management reporting
  • Key Skills, Competencies and Knowledge :

  • Overall 15+ years of technology experience with minimum 12 years of experience in delivering software automation projects
  • Strong technical understanding of various Automation tools like RPA, IDP / OCR, Winshuttle, Workflow / Orchestration, Process Mining and Cloud platforms
  • Experienced in managing multiple IT programs and projects, simultaneously via globally distributed teams
  • Strong understanding of managing budgets and costs, financial analysis & tracking, and cost optimization
  • Experience in leading customer facing discussions and interfacing with Business, IT and Architecture teams. Ability to coordinate with multiple, cross-functional customers
  • Proven experience in building and leading world-class development teams
  • Relevant understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, application authentication / authorization and virtual server / desktop environments etc
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing models, PaaS, google cloud, Azure, AWS
  • Start up' mindset, very 'hands on', 'get things done' attitude

  • Strong people management and conflict management and resolution skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, negotiation skills, ability to handle challenging clients / situations
  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor or higher university degree in Engineering / Sciences / Mathematics
  • PMP®, PRINCE2 and / or Agile / DevOps methodologies certifications
  • Strong demonstrated expertise and experience in delivering complex automation delivery projects
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering Agile and DevOps projects
  • Demonstrated experience in working across culture, partnering, driving with a focus on business impact
  • Demonstrates continuous learning mindset via coursework & certifications beyond formal education
