Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, Individual contributor Role, the resource will be responsible for :

  • Lead assigned projects independently in accordance with the objectives of the Sponsor
  • Drive and unite contributors of the mission for achieving the objective
  • Provide permanent control on the deliverable by managing the associated risks and challenges
  • Ensure the deliverables are achieved as per the agreed objectives
  • Define a project plan with clear definition of the scope, expected deliverables and the timelines associated
  • Produce a well-defined project plan, identifying the key milestones and the requirements to achieve these
  • Identify the relevant stakeholders and set appropriate governances to
  • Engage the project sponsor and stakeholders effectively
  • Mobilize the project team (stakeholders & contributors) and allocate roles and responsibilities
  • Lead workshops with stake holders to obtain conclusive inputs and feedback
  • Provide update on project status evaluating performance against the target
  • Ensure the baselined scope, requirements, benefits, schedule and budget are managed as outlined in the project charter.
  • Maintain project change control, ensuring any changes to baseline are managed through change request and all impacts are considered and validated by the sponsor.
  • Proactively analyze, assess & monitor project execution to effectively identify risks / issues / dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work effectively around delivery constraints - key milestones and dependencies, requirements and scope, effort and resources, budgets and quality
  • Identifies, intervenes & rectifies where there is slippage / variance from plan.
  • Ensure resolution within agreed timelines and implement mitigating action plans
  • Ensure effective governance processes are in place to
  • Obtain direction consistently by providing accurate and timely data to make focused decisions
  • Ensure that the project progress is in line with the sponsor expectations
  • Escalate issues timely with the Sponsor / Program Manager with possible solutions / impacts for resolution
  • Collaborate and builds positive stakeholder and business partner relationship to
  • Obtain timely inputs from the project sponsor and other business partner stakeholders for all key project milestones
  • Manage change and implementation within the business to ensure the change lands well and sticks, contributing to benefits realization
  • Manages project closure and handover to the business
  • Track benefits post implementation of all project recommendations
  • Work in pairs with global teams / entities / regions remotely to efficiently execute the projects where applicable
  • Cooperation and participation to the improvement of the Transformation team efficiency
  • Transfer of knowledge / expertise to the new joiners, trainings on methodology
  • Knowledge sharing, communication about best practices or new idea
  • Standardization of reporting, governance templates used
  • Profile required

  • Excellent understanding of the project lifecycle and PM / BA best practices
  • Prior experience in industry wide methodologies / frameworks / tools like Lean Six-Sigma
  • Project management skills and experience having ability to deliver fixed & innovative assignments
  • Expertise in the delivery of on time and on budget projects that achieve business case stated outcomes a driver with bias towards delivery at pace and controlling project outcomes
  • Analytical mindset to be able to navigate through complex projects
  • Stakeholder management experience, especially around running project governance
  • Demonstrate strong cooperation and team spirit to work efficiently with all departments
  • Client orientation mindset with attention to detail
  • Experience in implementation, change management and benefits realization
  • Understanding of banking industry & of how change drives benefits for the organization, its customers and other stakeholders
  • In depth experience of working in transformation and change projects
  • Good understanding of Front to Back trade life cycle, System Architecture
  • Strong knowledge in operational / IT flow in different asset classes trade capture, booking controls, confirmation, settlement, payment, reconciliation
  • PMP, Prince 2, Agile, MS Visio, Advanced MS Office, etc. in addition to possessing skills in BRD preparation
