Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
In the role of IAM Security Architect, candidate will be the expert in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory platforms, driving an extensive transformation project to modernize the environment, consolidate domains, and leverage cloud-based identity services.
You will be responsible for architecture and design of the modernized Active Directory environment, in line with Novartis information security standards and industry best practices.
Oversight of Active Directory & Azure Active Directory architecture including infrastructure, services and capabilities.
Technical leadership of the Active Directory transformation project, creating design and blueprints for the target architecture.
Conduct requirements gathering and joint design sessions with multiple stakeholders.
Provide leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including evaluating business requirements and security technologies, planning technology deployment, mentoring security engineering teams, and soliciting feedback from security operations teams and other internal customers
Work across business and IT teams to analyse and define requirements for Active Directory & Azure Active Directory integrations.
Effectively liaise with other teams in information security & risk management, infrastructure & architecture management as well as business functions.
Contribute to the development of overall Novartis technical strategies, designs, standards and procedures that support business strategies.
Demonstrated security architecture conceptual skills, solutions delivery, and decision making, incorporating sound security principles and emerging technologies to design and implement enterprise security solutions
Strong knowledge of Active Directory architecture and infrastructure, with in-depth understanding of Active Directory Replication, DNS, Site Links, Site Topology, Group Policy, Global Catalogs and other core infrastructure components.
Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory technologies, including authentication models, federation, MFA, conditional access policies and other relevant capabilities.
Knowledge of best practices in AD / Azure Privileged access management and modern AD / Azure Secured Administration practices
Experience working in a multi-vendor environment by managing technical resources and providing needed technical guidance.
Self-motivated with keen attention to detail and good judgement skills and ability to function with / without supervision.
Ability to simultaneously involve and prioritize multiple projects / tasks
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Degree or relevant equivalent experience English and other local language if needed
5+ years of relevant working experience in Active Directory Architecture and IT Security
3+ years of experience with Azure Active Directory architecture and design
Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills; interpersonal and collaborative skills; and the ability to communicate concepts to technical as well as nontechnical audiences.
Experience with migration and consolidation projects is a huge plus.
