Department Description

The Technology function provides IT services to the Fidelity International business, globally. These include the development and support of business applications that underpin our revenue, operational, compliance, finance, legal, marketing and customer service functions.

The broader organisation incorporates Infrastructure services that the firm relies on to operate on a day to day basis including data centre, networks, proximity services, security, voice, incident management and remediation

Technology Risk and Management Oversight (TRMO) is a centralized global team with responsibility for supporting the Head of Technology in delivering business value from Technology and Digital in a consistent and transparent way.

Its scope covers the following core Technology wide capabilities : Strategy, Operating Model, Oversight, KPIs & Analytics, Technology Risk & Resilience, Financial Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Learning & Development, Communications and delivery of cross-departmental Change Initiatives.

Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a number of periodic reviews and supporting the FIL Users and Technology Control Owners to comply with defined control requirements and objectives.

They must have strong domain knowledge and understanding on Governance, Risk and Compliance to define KPI and monitor control effectiveness.

This role is very challenging and requires lot of enthusiasm and energy. Person should be strategic thinker to resolve system issues and propose innovative solutions.

This role demands person must be a good team player and liaise with TRMO and wider Technology teams across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting and contributing in User and Role Reviews, to ensure user must have access appropriate to their role.

Design and develop metrics and measures, to monitor and report on Compliance / Non-Compliance instances to respective control owners and Sr. Stakeholders.

Responsible for reporting and escalating to improve control design and effectiveness in consultation with Operations, Cybersecurity and Application Support groups.

Continuously improve customer satisfaction and coverage.

Supporting in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) activities.

Ensure compliance to Fidelity Information security policies and standards.

Communicate issues, solutions and status to team members and senior management on timely manner.

Demonstrate innovative and enthusiastic approach towards technology and problem solving.

Display good interpersonal skills and show confidence and ability to interact professionally with people at all levels.

Experience and Qualifications Required

Graduate from reputed institute with 5+ years of experience and progressive working knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance domain and associated technologies

Strong understanding of Technology & Information Security Risk and Control Objectives.

A good understanding of Security Control frameworks, such as ISO27001 and NIST.

4+ years of work experience in Cyber Security and Technology Risk domain.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

Commitment to high standards of excellence and integrity.

Able to build strong relationships with peers, control owners and key stakeholders.

Excellent verbal and written communicator, who can consistently deliver high quality work and engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels.

Process focused and should be able to deliver high quality documentation, Presentation, Reports and Dashboards using MS Office or other data visualization tools like Power BI.
