What this job involves :

New Business Development

What we are looking for is a multitasking individual who can effectively identify, develop and nurture new opportunities pertaining to Strategic Business initiatives pertaining to Engineering Services, Material Procurement and secondary sale.

Reporting to Head Strategic Business, you’ll research, schedule meetings and build relationship with potential clients and convert opportunities into wins to increase business.

In line with this, you’ll work closely with Head Strategic Business to plan methodologies and pitches and utilizing your knowledge of market conditions and competitors, identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators to develop new solutions.

Service Delivery

As the key SPOC for clients for Strategic Business Services, you will be responsible towards delivery of various Annual Maintenance Contracts, Repair & Maintenance and strategic procurement activities for multiple sites in South India.

This will require you to closely coordinate with Client SPoC for various buildings towards AMC service and material delivery and take customer feedback on services.

Likewise, you will be working side by side to coordinate with all service partners and vendors to ensure quality services and emergency support extended on required basis, monitor and measure vendor performance through SLA's & KPI's.

You’ll also be maintaining 100% records and documents in legible form.

Furthermore, you will be facilitating site visits, explaining pricing, negotiations, documentation support & closure for secondary sale & leasing opportunities at PAM managed sites.

Administrative and other ad hoc responsibilities

As the person responsible for increasing the traction for Strategic Business in South, you must be flexible in taking other responsibilities aside from your core tasks.

Part of your mandate will be to prepare baseline presentations, commercial proposals and other presentations as per requirement.

Likewise, you’ll also need to ensure that all administrative activities pertaining to a pitch or won contract are maintained properly.

You would also be tracking progress against plan, forecast deviations in business targets and ensure objectives are met.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university. You’ll need between Four- to Six-years’ experience in handling electromechanical Equipments at site along with some exposure to Business Development.

A working knowledge of Facility (OR) Property Management of any asset class will also be very helpful.

An eye for detail

You’ll have an eye for detail and an ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information and translate this into strategic deliverables.

Good organisational and communication skills

You’ll have good communication and organisational skills and be adept at dealing with multiple internal and external stake holders to convey and convince them about the business propositions.

Time management and muti tasking skills

You’ll have great time management skills and be good at meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment and adapting to your team’s or client’s changing requirements.

You are able to prioritize between multiple commitments and handle different requirements as part of your responsibilities.
