Enterprise Business Technology is responsible for supporting enterprise technology initiatives related to messaging and collaboration, risk technology, corporate systems data, and various internal systems and tools.
Our services include support for database administration, data warehousing, email, Intranet, system development tools, HR systems, and General Ledger systems.
About the Role
You will work as part of the Calculations Services technology group. The group is responsible for building / supporting computing platform / tools that can efficiently handle Big Data management, run computations on large datasets and complex models.
Development experience on Horton Work Hadoop platform using Python, R, Scala, Hive and Spark
Experience with developing models and tools using Data Wrangling tools, Jupyter / Zeppelin Notebooks
Experience with DevOps tools like Chef, Puppet to integrate the artifacts and assets developed by model developers
Experience in optimizing and troubleshooting application performance with tuning of Hive / HQL, LLAP, Spark.
Experience in using machine learning frameworks and libraries such as H2O, TensorFlow, PyTorch and Caffe
Design and implement new data services, platforms, web applications, and APIs
Build applications, libraries, and automation to accelerate research on our platform
Participate in development process
6 plus year of experience
Experience with Google Cloud, AWS would be nice to have Spark
Collaborate with Model Developer / Validators and other engineers
Write unit and functional tests
Solve performance and scalability problems
Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff
Clear demonstration of expertise in the relevant application area; ability to independently deliver ; mentor junior or less experienced staff by providing direction, developing proof of concepts, generate ideas for Continuous Process Improvements, etc.
