Roles & Responsibilities :

Monitor critical application performance and availability.

Summarize and review performance trends during operation status meetings.

Assist staff in troubleshooting and root-cause diagnosis of performance issues.

Maintain reports and dashboards to meet the requirements of IT and business users.

Suggest additional applications for monitoring requirements.

Mentor and train staff on APM products and their best practices.

Provide regular status updates and project documentation to support customer engagement efforts.

Look after the health of APM deployments and update software with necessary service packs.

Maintain accurate deployment documentation.

Required Skills :

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related technical discipline.

Over 5 years work experience in APM, application monitoring, system administration, performance engineering or development.

Over 3 years of experience in Dynatrace or New Relic.

APM Industry Associate Certification or any Dynatrace / New Relic product certification would be advantageous.

Over 2 years of experience in software engineering and Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in .NET, Java, and JavaScript frameworks.

Experience of working with Cloud and infrastructure technologies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, OpenStack, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, etc.

Experience with database technologies (Oracle, DB2, MS SQL).

Good understanding of web, distributed, and enterprise applications.

Ability to address complex application environments to provide clear guidance on performance improvements and implementation strategies to the client.

Excellent organizational / time management skills.

Strong interpersonal communication skills and passionate to learn about a new technology.

Must have good presentation and writing skills; experience in creating professional reports and deliverables.

Must be a highly motivated, energetic self-starter to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment. Should be committed to getting results.
