Job Description Summary
The Lead Total Reward Specialist will develop an international understanding while supporting GE Aviation’s global compensation and benefit programs and processes around the world.
The role will work closely with the Global Compensation Practices team to provide support and expert advice on the local compensation and benefit practices in the designated countries that it is supporting.
In this role, the Lead Total Reward Specialist will become an advisor on both compensation & benefits practices for the HRMs in their region.
Reporting to the Total Reward Hemisphere Leader the Lead Total Reward Specialist will work not only as a member of the GE Aviation TR team, but also as a project leader.
They will take lead on projects from their initial idea to implementation that align with the business plans, goals and objectives of GE Aviation and our clients.
The jobholder’s responsibilities focus mainly on countries across Asia & India however as integral part of the Eastern Hemisphere Total Rewards team will participate and / or lead project focusing also on global or hemisphere level or other country in Eastern Hemisphere
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Hemisphere Total Reward Leader, the Lead Total Reward Specialist will
provide support and expert advice on local compensation and benefit practices in assigned region, mainly Asia & India.
They will partner with the rest of the GE Aviation total reward team and work as a project leader. They will take lead on projects from their initial idea to implementation that align with the business plans, goals and objectives of GE Aviation and our clients.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of processes supporting the company’s annual compensation cycle and lead the execution of those processes with special focus on Asia & India.
The job holder might also need to support other markets in the Eastern Hemisphere
Partner with Total Rewards Manager and Global Compensation Practices team to execute :
Salary survey participation prepare and of submit data files and benefit questionnaires
Market data analysis mastery of GE Aviation compensation data analytics software, development of draft market pricing and draft salary structures.
Merit review mastery of AVI merit philosophy & merit review software; support to HRBPs across multiple geographies
Bonus pay-out first point of contact for escalation queries; collaboration with global compensation team
Proactively analyze existing company Total Reward processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend streamlining and efficiency gains.
Design and manage competitive salary structures, market pricing, field pay programs and local incentive programs. Establish and formulate business case and recommendations for stakeholder approval.
Develop and keep up-to-date knowledge of company’s global programs including : stock purchase plans, reward & recognition, short-term incentive plans, sales compensation.
Support regional pay equity initiatives
Provide expert advice to HRPBs who escalate their own or employee queries to TR.
Support HRMs and Region TR Manager in development and reviews of complex individual and / or group compensation reviews.
Deliver various total reward education sessions within region to develop and enhance HR & leader competency.
Provides benefit program benchmarking, renewals and tendering process (broker-facilitated or as project lead).
Represent Eastern Hemisphere in certain Segment relationships,
Lead and / or participate in global or hemisphere projects
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
5 years or more regional Experience in Compensation and Benefits
