Cashier , you will be responsible for accurately processing retail merchandise transactions, maintaining the balance of the cash drawer, and providing customer service to guests at the outlet. Key Responsibilities :
Greeting customers with a smile
Responsible for handling cash at point of sale
Maximizing sales via Up-selling, cross selling and suggestive selling
Accurately taking orders and ensuring that complete food and beverages are served together, on time
Providing customers appropriate KOT / Invoice generated through system
Checking the proper working and temperature of all the chillers, freezers, equipment and electrical equipment (bulbs, A / C, etc)
Making note of any discrepancy, and the same is noted / corrected in the challan and the purchase cum supply chain department is informed accordingly
Checking expiry date and labeling of products - Any packed products which are bound to get expired in next 3-4 days should be removed from the display and sent back to the Purchase department / HO
Following Q&A Checklist norms on daily basis and assisting in the precise execution of the same on daily basis
Checking booked home delivery orders and ensuring timely delivery
Following the instructions of the Manager and counting of inward / outward stock
Assisting the audit team in doing the monthly audit in the night
Cleaning, dusting and maintaining the complete tidy look of the respective station and the entire customer area (Sweeping, wiping, removing dirty trays, cleaning, table cleaning, checking the trash cans, etc)
Keeping the cash counter / register station stocked with all necessary items
Responsible for Store management and Inventory management
Developing a customer database of more than 5 k customers per outlet
Following Checklist on daily basis (without fail)
Assisting customers and resolving the customer queries and complaints
Liaisoning with various departments for timely supply of products
Controlling pilferage and shrinkage (shop lifting, theft, administrative mistake, etc)
Ensuring proper receipt and dispatch of raw material via GRN (Goods Receipt Note)
Adhering to cash handling policies and procedures

Previous cash handling experience is a great add on
