Responsible for the development, implementation, administration and budgeting of global HR strategic company initiatives in one or more of the following areas : employment, compensation, benefits, HR operations, employee relations, diversity, immigration and organizational development Manages a professional staff.

Play an important role in leading the HR group as a strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line management staff.

Develop and implement global company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., benefit programs, manpower planning, salary / bonus / stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment).

Advise managers and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values.

Ensures staffing needs are met in accordance with governmental specifications.

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and / or functional peer group managers.

May interact with senior management. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.

Ability to travel. Demonstrated leadership skills. BA / BS degree and experience in an HR specialty a plus.

India is the key location of these operations, housing the majority of hires. This role will directly manage our India team of talent acquisition specialists and coordinators.

  • Key responsibilities include;
  • Managing complex, large-scale campus hiring efforts, leading recruiters across varied businesses, portfolios and candidate markets
  • Working with key business stakeholders to craft yearly roadmaps and providing a point of escalation / resolution where needed
  • Supporting and developing new initiatives and programs, to enhance Oracle's brand engagement at target universities and on relevant social media channels
  • Development and engagement of team, with supportive interventions targeted at their wellness & personal growth
  • Cultivating relationships with schools and external stakeholders, finding opportunities for mutual partnership and progress
  • Bringing an inquisitive, data-driven mindset to continuously evaluate processes and operational metrics in order to drive better outcomes and engagement each cycle
  • Fostering internal partnerships to deliver programs, improve efficiencies and remove roadblocks
  • Diversity champion, identifying new channels to connect across all communities
  • Ensuring the function’s compliance and data integrity, including executive reporting responsibilities
  • Successful applicants will have;
  • Previous management experience directing a recruitment team (preferably Early Careers)
  • Considerable large-scale project management experience, with an operational and compliance focus
  • Understanding of and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including Generation Z
  • Ability to work across a large, matrixed organization and existing relationships with key Indian universities
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication abilities with advanced presenting skills (audiences of up to 300)
  • This is a complex, demanding and varied role; requiring both a creative and detailed mindset. This individual will need to quickly ascertain macro and micro considerations within daily operations, whilst keeping a constant eye on incoming phases across the annual recruiting cycle.

    A successful individual will bring with them advanced time-management and prioritisation abilities, and subject matter expertise across recruitment fundamentals such as branding, assessment and candidate care.

    Demonstrable project management experience is essential given the operational scale of this role.
