The Digital Acquisition Team at American Express India is focused on delivering a best in class digital acquisition experience for American Express Prospects in India.

The team is tasked with bringing to market new online capabilities, partnerships and programs to help Indian consumers find the American Express Card that best suits their needs.

Online is becoming a dominant channel for Card acquisition and is continuing to evolve rapidly to capture new and exciting growth opportunities across devices and forms.

The Intern - Digital Partnerships & Corporate Development is an exciting learning opportunity within the Digital Acquisition Team in the Consumer Business, and will play a role in bringing new Digital and Corporate Partnerships to American Express India.

The Intern will be supported in delivering innovative Acquisition partnership constructs with Consumer facing Online and Offline companies, expanding the scope of digital sourcing and cross-

sell opportunities at Corporates and building for an easy application eco-system for prospects across these partnerships.

Responsibilities include :

  • Work with the Partnership Manager to manage relationships with partners and leading e-commerce portals, leveraging their platforms to drive incremental online applications through partner APIs and digital capabilities.
  • Understand the day-to-day management of Acquisition partnerships in the offline and online space and contribute towards scaling Customer Acquisitions amongst the profitable customer segments in the partner’s portfolio.
  • Develop subject matter expertise of American Express networks, platforms, and procedures including understanding the card application processing cycle from the time of application submission to card approval.
  • Qualifications :

    Required Skills / Qualifications :

  • Ability to work with various teams in a complex environment, ensuring timely delivery of multiple activities in the digital and sales space
  • Should have a flair for Digital technologies and the interest to partner with Technology teams on critical customer-facing technology initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and presentational skills (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint ) with strong attention to detail to summarize complex analyses for various (Full-
