We Offer

The remit is to carry out daily line management activities for the local team in Pune providing support to the Global Resource Pool Owner.

Daily tasks involve dealing with multiple partners and being the face of the DM IT BE pool in the Pune location.

  • Supervising the team’s performances through weekly team meetings and one on one sessions
  • Identify project inter-dependencies and help coordinate team efforts across project streams avoiding duplication of effort and ensure common requirements / design.
  • Looking after clients / partner demands
  • Support senior manager initiatives
  • Delegating workloads / allocating people to projects, ensure the team is fully utilized
  • Offering technical support; knowing how the system works, and knowing how to fix issues when things go wrong.
  • Quality control : handling and developing work standards
  • Support initiatives within the Global BE pool, e.g. develop training plans, building confluence pages, hosting knowledge sharing presentations within the team / or external
  • Continuously seek feedback on and monitors the service, continually striving for excellence in the delivery of the service line provision
  • Ensure the development of team members to their full potential.
  • Support Planning, schedules, monitors and reports on activities related to the team to ensure that each team member contributes to the overall success of the projects.
  • Identifies issues with project approach, inter-dependencies, impact on current system functionality and ensure the strategic benefits are realised.
  • Notifies managers / projects / programmes / change initiatives of issues and recommends and monitors corrective action.

  • Reports on team’s BoW status as appropriate.
  • Handle / support development of system functionality by producing functional requirement specifications distilled from Business requirement documents.
  • Working with RFDAR (Risk Finance Data Analytics Reporting), Front Office IT areas and internal RF IT staff to understand complex data issues and data flows.
  • Documenting functional requirement specifications for a variety of development projects.
  • Developing an in depth knowledge of the existing RF IT system architectures
  • Understanding existing system processes for data acquisition and controls
  • Become familiar with the existing processes for data enrichment and adjustments.
  • Supporting independent QA teams with defect investigation and resolution as part of development life cycle.
  • Document Functional Requirements from Business Requirements documents received
  • Support Project managers and delivery leads in understanding the scope of the business requirements
  • Contribute to project planning and RAID logs
  • Maintain existing documentation / rules within the system
  • Ensure that Application knowledge base is always kept up to date
  • Contribute to the design and support the development process to ensure that business requirements are met
  • Support / Facilitate the L3 team in resolving production issues by providing necessary functional or data analysis
  • You demonstrate :

  • Successful LM experience in handling large teams.
  • Strong product and valuation knowledge.
  • Understanding of risk methodology + awareness of how data issues may impact processes and calculations
  • Understanding of reference data and the types of enrichments expected in the risk space
  • Solid business requirements back ground, special focus on use cases and process models (UML / BPMN)
  • You are able to demonstrate being able to convert vague requirements / stories into atomic requirements.
  • Previous delivery lead / Pm background beneficial
  • You Offer

  • You have minimum of 8 years of experience in a change management role within an Investment Bank, preferably within a Risk or Front Office environment
  • You have professional BA qualification desired
  • You have FRM or any equivalent certification is added advantage
  • You have deep knowledge of product attributes and valuations including sensitivities across a broad range of asset classes
  • You have the ability to be able to produce Functional and Technical specifications that can be understood by Business and Technical users
  • You are knowledgeable in using of SQL to query databases
  • You are able to show ability to facilitate collaboration with colleagues from multiple teams and disciplines.
  • You have deep understanding of good project planning practices
  • You are a driver of organizational change & transformation.

  • UML / BPMN process modelling experience
  • Knowledge of VaR, RWA, and other Credit / Market Risk calculations is beneficial
