Senior Product Manager

Ayla is looking for a senior product manager that is excited by the ambiguity and speed of a startup, motivated to work as a full stack PM across Engineering, Marketing and Business Development and experienced in building enterprise scale cloud platforms.

The Internet of Things value proposition is evolving rapidly, and you will be on the leading edge of designing and building products that drive significant value for our customers, partners and end-users.

You should have extensive experience with SaaS / PaaS platforms, cloud technologies, and / or IoT. From designing delightful products with engineering, to presenting your vision to customer and industry executives, you should be comfortable driving deep technical, business and strategy discussions.

This position will work closely with senior executives worldwide to drive our go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities

Responsible for product strategy for specific product lines within Ayla’s IoT Platform

Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

Write clear and concise user stories and requirements, prioritizing development items to align with the product roadmap

Work closely with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, program, and QA to ensure delivery against product roadmap

Drive product launches including working with product marketing, support, customer success, and sales

Monitor product performance and proactively identify opportunities for product improvements

Evaluate and influence product marketing messaging and materials to ensure that they are consistent with product strategy

Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

Desired Skills and Experience

5+ years of product management or related experience

Deep technical understanding of cloud and / or IoT technologies

Proven ability to translate market needs into great features and products.

Strong business sense, to uncover opportunities, and quantify them with business cases and financial models.

Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills

Proven ability to work in an ambiguous, fast paced environment, with little direction and quick decision making.

History of success in executing high-impact plans that move business metrics.
