Oracle PaaS Cloud is a significant part of Oracle’s cloud strategy. The PaaS offering that our team build is key to the migration of Oracle’s Fusion Application suite (SaaS) to the next generation of Cloud services. We are responsible for building many of the key cloud PaaS pieces like Caching service, Universal Connection Pool provider, Runtime customization service, Streaming Services, and Extension manager service.
As you grow in this role, you'll be expected to take ownership of one or more framework features. Responsibilities include
Architect, design and implement new features.
Test new features and help ensure product quality
Fixing bugs and maintain the existing product.
Provide technical assistance to customers online.
Assist other technical employees (QA, Documentation, and Marketing)
Document your software implementations Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. B.Tech or M.Tech degree is required. A minimum of 7 years of Software Engineering experience required.
Strong in Java, JEE, Web Development skills.
Must be self-motivated
Should be able to work with minimal supervision
Must be a team player, adapt well to changing work requirements, and be able to work independently
Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and especially written)
Self-learner Nice to have
Tool or data-driven framework development experience
User interface/usability experience
Strong server-side development skills
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
