Position Description :

We are looking for a Software Test / Verification Engineer with experience in verifying, validating and developing protocols for embedded systems.

You will be part of a Software development team that is supporting existing and next generation platform in our world-class molecular diagnostics product series.

You will be developing test protocols / methods, software test tools help diagnose software issues and maintain existing software.

Specific responsibilities commensurate with experience and include :

  • Plan, develop, execute tests and track test activities, adhering to timeline and quality.
  • Participates in discussions and definition of test plans, test procedures and product requirements.
  • Definition and development of test fixtures / test benches, special test environment and ensure they are adequate for the test purpose.
  • Investigation of identified issues (root cause analysis, reproducibility steps etc.).
  • Prepare appropriate documentation as required by internal product development processes and regulatory agencies such as FDA and ISO.
  • Collaborate with software development team, the functional manager, project manager, distributed, multi -functional teams to ensure products meet quality, performance, scalability, reliability and schedule goals.
  • Supporting definition of process improvement, tools and laboratory management.
  • Definition and improvement of test techniques.
  • Participate in team activities and help in mentoring other team members.
  • Required Skills

  • Effective written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Bachelor’s or Master s degree in a related field with minimum 7 years of proven experience in manual testing / system verification.
  • Clinical Chemistry background is a plus
  • Preferred experience with regulated environment (e.g. medical devices)
