Responsibilities

  • Designs, architects and manages the delivery of data and information management solutions to satisfy business needs within assigned functional responsibilities.
  • Develops data management processes, reports and infrastructure to efficiently source and integrate multiple internal / external data sources to increase the value of the data to the organization.
  • Develops data management processes to reduce complexity, improve data quality, and increase efficiency throughout the information management lifecycle.
  • Contributes to the design of information infrastructure, and data management processes to move the organization to a more sophisticated, agile and robust target state data architecture.
  • Effectively translates business requirements into a technical programme of work.
  • Ensures thoroughness, accuracy and quality of all Data & Information management deliverables prior to implementation.
  • Assist with on-boarding and mentoring Data and Information Management professionals.
  • Interfaces with internal colleagues and external professionals to determine requirements, anticipate future needs, and identify areas of opportunity to drive data development.
  • Ensures team adherence to standard data operating procedures, data quality standards, and data privacy / security requirements.
  • Facilitates the migration of departmental and business processes to JLL strategic solutions, ensuring business continuity throughout the migration.

    Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a quantitative discipline in science, business, or social science.
  • Advance degree preferred.

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to self-learn new software applications and programming languages.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
  • Excellent technical, analytical and organizational skills. Project management skills desired.
  • The ability to interact and communicate with a diverse set of stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization.
  • Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience in the fields of information science, data management and / or computer science with at least 5 years of experience managing.
  • Experience in data architecture, data integration / ETL, data warehousing, and business intelligence applications deployed in a complex environment.
  • Experience with Azure Devops and cloud computing technologies like Azure or AWS is better
  • Experience with Azure, Azure Data Lake, Azure functions, Azure DevOps, Data bricks, NoSQL is a big plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data modelling, database design and database administration.
  • Experience working with a virtual team of multi-cultural data and information management professionals.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of software development lifecycle processes and procedures.
  • Expertise with tool such as SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI and Tableau.
  • Experience with data analysis, data extraction, data quality and enrichment.
