We are looking for highly motivated and talented Salesforce administrators that are not afraid to dig deep into the depths of our entire org and multiple clouds, spanning multiple business units, in order to drive our goals of governance, best practices, reporting, monitoring and administration.

You will be administrating existing platform, and work across multiple clouds and applications, including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Community, CPQ, Einstein, Marketing, Mavenlink, MuleSoft and many other customized applications on top of the platform.

You will be working with a dynamic team of architects, lead developers and business users and admins that are part of the same team with the intent to drive better value for the company, and help Ciena leverage its Salesforce investment and bring it to the next level in terms of operationalizing governance and administration.

What will you do at Ciena? Specific profile scope for this position Salesforce (Shield add-on product) Administration As an administrator and with the help of the technical team, you will ensure the observance of security best practices and governance in the form of daily monitoring, administration of access changes, inspection and opportunities for automation.

Monitor platform resources utilization, performance and identify opportunities for improvements. Licensing Administration As an administrator and with the help of the technical team, you will be overseeing the provisioning of all Salesforce licensing, in order to maximize the ROI, including permission set, permission set groups and profiles and roles structure, in collaboration with the respective business administrators.

Establish and monitor governance around license utilization, on-boarding and off-boarding procedures. Be the single point of contact for any and all internal audit requests as well as reports on utilization for business around licensing and access control.

Identifying opportunities for improvement and automation where possible. Release Management As an administrator and with the help of the technical team, you will be point for all releases and deployments to our pipeline environments, including refreshing of the Sandboxes and post-refresh steps, communicating summary of release notes and reporting to business around all releases, enhancements and fixes.

This also includes participating in the assessment and review of the Salesforce (and 3rd party packages on Salesforce) releases, maintenance windows, and upgrades with the technical team, and communicating / answering questions from business around those releases.

Governance As an administrator and with the help of the technical team, you will be responsible for co-leading and driving weekly alignment meetings with the different business units, around shared objects and practices (RACI model), capturing and reporting on those action items week by week.

You will be responsible for the monthly Salesforce News bulletin, sharing information with the broader audience around the Salesforce enhancements and fixes and upcoming features and announcements.

You will drive and lead the monthly governance meetings, as per the guidance provided from Salesforce accelerator on Governance, keep the action owners accountable for their commitments around governance, as well as run the scrum board and backlog around governance.

General Activities In addition to governance of Salesforce platform, you will also be responsible for OOB configuration and development of small to medium complexity enhancements.

Work and collaborate closely with the technical team, service and business owners. Evaluate the best options, with out of the box functionality first (clicks not code), with a strong bias towards Scalability, Reusability and clarity of Best Practices.

Explore new functionality of the platform, work with our vendors and Salesforce account management team in order to identify opportunities for enhancements.

Communicate on a regular basis, at action log meetings with the Business team, on tracked progress (using JIRA, BitBucket, GitHub) and maintain a Customer Centric approach and relationship with the Business / Product team.

Be passionate about learning and adopting new technologies that will ease your day-to-day job and be transparent in communicating progress using tools such as JIRA, Slack and Chatter.

Some periodic on-call duties to provide application support, incident management, and troubleshooting when needed. Experience The candidate will have demonstrated experience in Salesforce administration and development of complex and large Salesforce Orgs.

Knowledge and experience in the Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Community, CPQ, Einstein and platform governor Limits and proven expertise using Jira, Git / Atlassian suite of tools, admin and declarative tools (Lightning Flow, Process Builder, App Builder and related).

Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder I, II certifications are must and Architect track certifications are a plus The candidate will have demonstrated skills and experience in communicating and collaborating with technical and business teams Be self-directed and demonstrated ability to learn and take initiative without too much guidance BA degree and demonstrated ability in technology as a minimum with 2 years of experience in Salesforce administration Are you ready to join a growing dynamic team for this challenge?
