Legal entity reporting- Statutory as well as Financial reporting
Practical implication of IFRS (including IFRS 9, 13, 15, 16 etc.)
Pre-exposure of IFRS9 implementation and reporting
Ensure robust Control environment
Analyse / review Finance projects
Legal entity / Group reporting for BUK Retail business.
Provide IFRS9 disclosures for STATUTORY reports and implementation of IFRS9 assessments across the business
Provide accurate and timely financial analysis in connection with jobholder’s area of responsibility, e.g. variances, trends, impact of change initiatives, impact of new accounting regulations and how to account for new areas / types of business.
Provide subject matter expertise to key stakeholders (onshore financial control teams, financial business
partners, Finance Operations).
Investigates external reporting implications of new and amended accounts for own area.
Fair knowledge of LEC function including month close processes, account reconciliation and substantiation, etc.
Ensuring the integrity of Financial Statement including setting up and maintaining a robust control framework.
Investigates and resolves problems, issues and queries liaising, with customers, suppliers and other experts, as appropriate.
Ensures the integrity of the numbers to enable the attestation process.
Reviews / analyses implications of Finance projects for own area of expertise. Recommends change and raises change requests, as necessary.
Timely delivery of Finance Transformation initiatives within LEC Banking Product shop.
Partner with stakeholders on solution when dealing with issues / challenges raised by them.
Strong financial background experience including exposure to IFRSs and external / regulatory reporting for large scale organisation
Track record in delivering to tight deadlines under pressure
Formal accounting or business qualification
Exposure to Front to Back Trade Flows
Practical experience of handling IFRS 9
Understanding of SAP / Hyperion and other reporting tools
Experience of working with Senior Management including Senior Executive level.
Experience in change and transformation projects.
