Incumbent will be responsible for end to end process management & flawless delivery of process, accountable for proper change management & process improvement.

Continuously develop industry / product knowledge. Ability to understand customer segments and apply different servicing approaches based on customer knowledge level.

Implement development plans for staff.The primary responsibility of this position is to support day to day operations for transaction processing for trades received from global and domestic clients.

Incumbent should possess knowledge on working of capital market. He / She should have the ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.

Can effectively work in teams.

Key Responsibilities would include : -

  • BAU Execution to be best in class. Publishing of weekly KPI's & KRI's and to identify and track reasons for deviation from agreed levels.
  • Ensure follow up for all ageing items.

  • Ensure objectives of the business are clearly understood and work with the team in delivering
  • End to End process responsibility and to be in control of End of day reports and critical intraday reports.
  • Institute a strong governance framework locally in the region and metrics which are consistent with the globe to ensure strong focus on quality, delivery and enhancing client experience.
  • Play a key role in Audit reviews and checks
  • Lead efficiency and controls Projects. This includes but not limited to assessing service quality and identifying areas for process improvement, service or tech initiatives.
  • Effective collaboration with peers across locations on business and objective delivery.
  • Assist in preparing and implementing Business Continuity Plans.
  • Review and improve on productivity benchmarks on ongoing basis.
  • Make performance appraisal for direct report and check- in every quarter.
  • Create strong resiliency & backups within the team.
  • Ability to analyze the processes and identify improvement areas, suggest action plan to improve the efficiency and turnaround time.
  • Solution oriented, manage crisis situations through proper escalation matrix.
  • Build effective relationships with management and internal stakeholders, also should have ability to influence them where necessary.
  • Build a strong and transparent culture for staff based on meritocracy
  • Will be required to engage, motivate and influence direct reports, teams, peers to enhance overall stake holders / employee engagement.
  • Will be responsible for building a strong Risk aware / controls focused operations
  • Work closely with business partners and Controls Managers in driving / implementing an effective, robust proactive and sustainable controls program to proactively manage risks to the business.
  • Ensure strong management coverage for the business at all times.
  • Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of experience of working in a Financial Services industry and business knowledge on Trade products is preferred.
  • Client focused and display urgency on the business deliverables and controls environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, and an ability to know when a deep dive approach is appropriate.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to anticipate issues and aggressively drive initiatives.
  • Leadership and staff development skills with prior team management experience.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and make accurate decisions in stressful situations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with business and technical parts of the organization.
  • Can operate in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and can prioritize one’s own and teams work to achieve them.
  • Ability to partner with demanding stakeholders, managing their expectations while developing strong working relationships with them.
  • Reasonable understanding of operational risks and related controls, audit and internal control framework.

  • Confidence to challenge, and be challenged, whilst remaining a positive can-do’ outlook.
  • Must be able to lead, manage and motivate the teams.
