The EHS team currently uses Gensuite for managing EHS risks. The suite includes compliance tasks, action tracking, incident reporting, auditing, inspections and supporting applications.

The goal of this team is respond to questions from the field, facilitate enhancement completion by a third party vendor, raise bugs / errors for resolution by the vendor and above all, provide a fantastic customer experience.

The EHS System Analyst role will work with our field, corporate and vendor teams to optimize Gensuite by diving deep into field requests for enhancements to determine viability and applicability, answering technical support questions from the field, gathering requirements and seeing projects through from design to release, and identifying and escalating bugs / errors.

The candidate has proven experience in collaborating with business and technical teams, success with translating complex technical examples into simple concepts, and finding solutions to difficult questions.

The candidate must be skilled at anticipating and resolving problems, managing multiple priorities, and communicating effectively with all level of stakeholders.

Your responsibilities :

  • Processing support tickets via the intake process and determining proper course of action
  • For enhancement requests, partnering with the requestor to develop solid requirements, collaborating with third party vendor to ensure requirements are met, completing functional testing and obtaining sign off from the requestor once released
  • For bugs / errors, replicating the bug, escalating to third party vendor and seeing it through to resolution
  • Functioning as the subject matter expert for assigned EHS applications
  • Partnering with the internal business intelligence team to communicate requirements for reports to be built, which meet the business needs
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of global system support, such as help desk / tech support
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience and demonstrable history of excellent customer support
  • 2+ years demonstrable analytical skills in solving technical issues, coordinating with vendors, testing solutions and investigating alternatives
  • 2+ years of writing technical documentation, such as design documents and standard operating practices
  • Experience in establishing new processes and procedures as well as following those already in place and always looking for improvements
  • Keep others informed of information that contributes to the performance of the team, department or company (Team player).
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team.
  • Excel at prioritizing in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong at developing clear, concise documentation.
  • Able to train others and generous with time to pass on knowledge.
  • Familiar with coordinating with corporate-based support groups to implement IT changes.
