  • Role and Responsibilities :

    Business / Department Objectives : CCB Assets

    Core Responsibilities :

  • The Candidate will be responsible to prospect NTB names in the SME space. The candidate should be proficient in the product suite offered and credit analysis
  • Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

  • Prospect New clients as per CCB TM
  • Collect financials and understand client requirement
  • To complete credit analysis and propose the deal to Risk team for approvals. He would be supported by CAU team / Supervisor and business Seniors in this process
  • To show compelling value to clients and convince clients to bank with Citi
  • Financial / Budgetary :

  • BD’s are expected to acquire at least 12 new clients in year with minimum threshold of USD 20 M per account and acceptable risk
  • Individual Contributor (IC) / Managerial : Individual Contributor

    Key Deliverables :

  • To acquire at least 12 new clients in a year
  • To ensure clients are as per CCB TM and acceptable risk and meet minimum revenue threshold and sponsor the credit
  • To complete all documentation and deferrals pertaining to onboarding a client / takeover. To handhold the client till the account is migrated to the Relationship team
  • Percentage of Travel : Yes, 50% of the Time

  • CAU / Risk / Product and Treasury / Compliance, etc.
  • External :

  • It is preferred to have candidates who have covered the market for 1 -3 years
  • Education :
  • Post Graduate
  • Post Graduate
  • MBA from reputed institutions / CA’s (Preferred)
  • Experience :

  • Credit, Relationship and Business Development experience
  • 2-8 years of work experience SME / Business Banking
  • Understanding of corporate credit
  • Knowledge of Asset / GTS products
  • Local market knowledge (Preferred)
  • Yes, 10 % of the Time
