Salesforce is seeking a Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Solution Architect to support the full implementation life cycle, from scoping to deployment in an evolving ecosystem consisting of clients and solution partners.

The successful candidate will represent Salesforce Commerce Cloud as a Subject Matter Expert externally and as a client advocate internally.

Responsibilities : Serve as a trusted advisor to the client Passionate about customer success Work closely with business partners to understand business needs and provide appropriate solutions using the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform Work with technology teams to define a solution blueprint using Salesforce technologies Assist Salesforce customers and internal teams with triaging issues Assist with Salesforce platform management tasks using Business Manager, Account Manager and other platform management tools Assist with application assessment and provide Enablement services Author and Apply industry best practices using Salesforce Commerce cloud platform that drive increased business value Manage customer expectations and provide solutions using both out of the box capabilities as well as third party integrations.

  • Provide assessments and recommendations on the design of ecommerce systems, while integrating components built by developers and ensuring architectural integrity of the system Responsible for coordinating the delivery of professional services to clients Responsibilities include the overall planning, organising, architecting, integrating, and delivery of all services prioritised in alignment with the client's expectations and business needs Lead a team of solution partner and / or client developers and specialists to meet specific client requirements;
  • responsible for ensuring an optimal system architecture to facilitate the successful completion of implementations Review deliverables / artifacts provided by the solution partner and / or the client and propose suitable recommendations Ramp up on Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud, obtain the necessary certifications and become the Subject Matter Expert in both Salesforce B2C & B2B Commerce Cloud Qualifications : Overall 12+ years of experience in the IT industry out of which a minimum of 5 years of relevant architecture experience, preferably in enterprise-level or SaaS environment Minimum of 5 years of relevant Solution Architecture experience in Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Ecommerce / digital commerce knowledge Experience in architecting Commerce solutions using the Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud platform Strong Functional knowledge & experience working on the Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud platform Strong application design skills including Data, Security and Integration architecture skills Hands-on experience implementing web technologies (client- and service-side) is key, and affinity to remain connected to the code is required Clear ability to drive projects to successful, on-time completion and influence stakeholders and team members Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively synthesise business requirements into technical outcomes for varied audiences, should be able to communicate with C-Level with authority and confidence Strong presentation skills.

    Able to effectively present and defend a point of view to a variety of audiences Experience in dynamic situations and able to shift gears comfortably and effectively Capable problem-solver that uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions Global thinker that can discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues and project them into the future Salesforce B2C Solution Architect Certification is preferred Travel requirement per year : 30 to 50% within the assigned region Accommodations If you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form.
