  • Support ES colleagues with understanding of and ensure visibility of updates to the IT Cost Management process and associated teams
  • Develop relationship and work with members of the virtual ES Commercial Pod (includes ES Domain Commercial Leads and IT COO Cost & Contract Management Leads)

  • Complex stakeholder relationships role needs to manage upwards, sideways and down the organisation

  • The role is for a senior leader with an in-depth understanding of the ITID global operating model
  • The role is expected to make prompt judgments and decisions independently, with global considerations
  • Must be able to make decisions quickly using judgement based on variable quality information
  • High calibre communication and influencing skills - the role requires relationship management, participation and influence in all partnership relationship with senior leaders or other partner functions across IT
  • Management of Risk (Operational Risk / FIM requirements)

  • Maintain and observe HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy.
  • Observation of Internal Controls (Compliance Policy / FIM requirements)

  • Demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.
