Introduction :

DMT RTB Application Support Lead will be responsible for managing the service quality provided to the Data Management Technology stakeholders and takes end-to-end responsibility of service operations.

The E2E support includes ensuring Application management, service availability, platform stability and service management

What will you be doing?

  • End to end proactive support of IT services portfolio to fulfil business demand, Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements;
  • providing regular updates to key stakeholders.

  • Ensure progress on delivery of service management activities, which delivers additional value or efficiencies to IT services.
  • Complex issue triage, investigation and coordination to closure including leading triage on major incident calls
  • Review of release documentation, implementation plan and provide sign-off for changes.
  • Collaborate with other technology partners - Development / Business Analysts / Testing / Infrastructure teams on upcoming changes and maintain a 30 / 60 / 90 day view tracker
  • Responsible for onboarding / decommission / migration of services / platforms and coordination of corresponding changes into application suite
  • Responsibility to own, maintain and track operational guides for support, knowledgebase, runbooks, SLA / OLA documentation, upstream and downstream contacts
  • Review and automate operationally expensive tasks and manual work(frequent batch failures, reporting requirements, etc)
  • Drive Incident / Change / Problem management improvements across entire suite of applications
  • Collate data for Proactive Service Improvement Initiatives, SLA / OLA performance, Application / Platform stability.
  • Periodic review of open issues impacting production services / platforms with RTB Lead.
  • Participation in Monthly Service Reviews, Service Governance meetings with vendors and Development teams, Major Incident Review meetings
  • Accountable for preparing & executing Resiliency Tests, Capacity and Backup / Recovery plans.
  • Co-ordinate with Auditors (internal & external) for completion of audit controls.
  • On call support, weekend working and ad-hoc overtime as appropriate
  • What we’re looking for :

  • Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or any equivalent.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience managing Level 2 application support and operations in financial institutions, consulting or technology companies
  • Strong vendor management skills, able to drive vendor deliverables as per standard SLAs & KPI, should be able to provide professional feedback on vendor services to IT stakeholders.
  • Hands-on / technical experience with high proficiency in Big Data platforms including Hadoop, Spark, Hive and Mapreduce paradigms Linux / Unix, Windows platforms and Networking concepts.
  • Relational database concepts (preferably MSSQL / Oracle) Scheduling tools like Autosys Service Management Tools (ServiceFirst or other) Strong Project management and Senior Stakeholder management skills.

  • Knowledge of Lean Control Process and various stages of Agile change life cycle
  • Experience with ITIL concepts and best practices. Experience of using configuration management tools and reporting.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial products and practices in financial institution.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills suitable for a diverse audience, with the ability to communicate in a positive, friendly and effective manner with technical’ or non-technical’ users / customers
  • Good analytical capabilities and good problem solving ability
  • Skills that will help you in the role :

  • Exposure of working in Data warehouse, Data Lakes would be preferred
  • Any scripting experience (Shell / Bash / Javascript etc)
  • Good to have - experience with Java, microservices, cloud infrastructure
  • Preferred to have certified in technologies like Hadoop, DevOps, AWS.
