About the role
Reporting locally to the Head of Enterprise Functions Delivery at EGS and globally through to the Enterprise Operational Support Leader (or designate for global delivery), this position is responsible for overall management of the EG&OS services performed by EGS across India and the Philippines.
This role will be based in Bangalore, India
Responsibilities
Writing Focus : Uses advanced technical writing knowledge for web-based documentation to write and maintain new / revised procedures, related graphics, tables, reference materials and other technical documentation.
Conducts complex procedural documentation analysis, works with system and banking line of business leads to gather information, design, and revise procedural documentation based on input provided.
Editing Focus : Uses advanced technical editing knowledge to edit new / revised procedures, related graphics, tables, reference materials and other technical documentation including online help screens for intranet web sites.
Manage content on procedure site and OpenText
Add revision history, versioning, and channeling and add all cross-references
Assist with maintenance or procedures and updating references in affected procedures.
Manage channels and shared folder organization to match channels
and monitor
certification process to ensure procedures are compliant and up
date
Communicate with functional teams and update certification dates on posted procedures
Track approvals and perform all follow-up actions for pending approvals
Provide status reports on progress and escalate issues
Ensures procedures are compliant with Wells Fargo branding
Format various procedures according to team standards and style guide
Work on updates tied to OpenText
Adhere to the Wells Fargo branding standards : typography, color, imagery, design, and voice
Create a consistent look and feel throughout our documentation, ensuring that all procedures adhere to the style guide and branding standards
Applies foundational process engineering tools such as SIPOC (suppliers, inputs, process outputs, and customers), Customer Focus, Lean / Six Sigma principles, Process Mapping, Fishbone diagrams and techniques to enhance processes for teams, departments and business units.
Gathers process requirements; provides operational / analytical support for Process Engineers. May identify or assist in identifying gaps and efficiency opportunities and may make recommendations based on analyses.
Interacts with business subject matter experts to ascertain information and details in support of research and evaluations.
Prioritizes responsibilities to balance initiatives and deliverables.
Facilitates exchange of process updates with business partners, ensuring the process provided to business complies with operative policies and regulations.
Market Skills and Certifications
Required Qualifications :
4-year College degree (or equivalent experience), background in ECM preferred.
5+ years of technical documentation and publication experience.
General IT fluency
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Content Management / Document Management / Collaboration solutions
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to build relationships with other consultants and end users.
Proficiency in conducting interviews and facilitating meetings with business owners to derive and validate business procedures using a variety of elicitation techniques (e.
g. interviewing, modeling, and surveying).
Knowledge of Taxonomy, hierarchical structure for document classification.
Ability to adjust to future changes in business rules, processes and procedures.
Demonstrate comprehension of delivery capabilities of collaborative knowledge, document, records management and / or business process management tools.
Able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
Strong communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to multi-task and use independent judgment to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
Strong time management and task / project management skills.
