Learning and capacity-building is a key ingredient of our success. Job Overview : - The HR Reporting Specialist a critical member of the Global workforce Data and Analytics team that provides expertise in workforce data, reporting and analysis for workforce initiatives.

This role supports business needs by ensuring the right data, metrics and reporting is leveraged to drive better business decisions and supports efforts to standardize and optimize reports and metrics globally.

  • A successful HR Reporting Specialist leverages a deep understanding of Workday data, other HR system data and business understanding to deliver value-added reporting solutions for HR and business users.
  • This requires a proven ability to extract, manipulate, synthesize and translate complex information from a variety of sources in an easy, effective format that is audience appropriate.

    Leverages expertise to consult on data needed for analytics by closely collaborating with HR Teams, Analytic Consultants and Data Scientists.

    Job Responsibilities : - Develop reports and Dashboards in Workday / other systems - Create report specs and develop, test, document and launch reporting solutions - Provide data and analysis as needed for completion of external surveys and government compliance.

  • Support HR Workforce Data & Reporting governance processes and ensure governance standards are followed. - Deliver thoughtful, effective collaboration with HR including HRBPs, COE areas, Global Service Centers and the rest of GMI.
  • Ability to extract, manipulate and translate the data from various systems for reporting and analytic applications. - Develop and deliver workforce reporting and basic descriptive analysis to HR and the business that aligns with business objectives and provides actionable, relevant and timely insights.
  • Deeply understand the data and how the business process influences data to ensure the right data are leveraged in deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver dashboards / infographics to reduce dependency on ad hoc reporting, day to day working requests, data requests.
  • Provide consultative reporting support including evaluating user requests for impact to ensure necessity or scalability.
  • Drive standard interpretation, output and use of workforce data; communicate data nuances that impact interpretation. - Function as the HR workforce data expert able to consult and guide consumers of HR data.
  • Discern opportunities to get in front of needs and provide proactive and scalable reporting solutions. - Conduct data integrity audits in collaboration with partners and make recommendations on clean-up, process improvement and metrics to assist in increased accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned. Desired Profile Education Minimum Degree Requirements : Bachelors Preferred Degree Requirements : Masters Preferred Major Area of Study : Statistics / BE / IT Experience Minimum years of related experience required : 2 Years Preferred years of related experience : 2-3 Years Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed - Tech savvy and ability to leverage reporting tools such as Workday, SAP, Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros), Access, PowerPoint and Tableau.
  • Strong business acumen and deep working knowledge of HCM concepts, best practices and procedures. - Must have excellent sound judgment and discretion regarding the handling of confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to influence various stakeholders. - Strong communication skills written and oral.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to assess situations and collaborate effectively to reach desired outcomes - Proven analytical / critical thinking skills demonstrating the candidate’s ability to interpret data and tell the story leveraging a variety of data sources.
  • Highly self-motivated, self-starter who is able to navigate ambiguity. - Ability to think proactively and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Competencies / Behaviors required for job A. Communication - Ability to effectively communicate ideas (via written & verbal communication) with stakeholders from different functions within the organization.

    Incumbent should have experience in working on large data sets. Can identify issues and provide ideas / solutions for resolution.
