The Global Academic Alliance marketing associate will be part of TIBCO’s Academic Alliance initiative team, creating, nurturing relationships with leading universities worldwide to help enrich their curriculum with access to technology and lesson content from TIBCO Software.
The goal of this position is to put TIBCO software into classrooms and in the hands of tomorrow’s technologists. The Global Education Alliance Marketing Associate will orchestrate internal relationships between TIBCO product and technology, marketing, recruiting and sales teams.
The role will interface directly with educators and administration at leading Universities to promote and assist in the adoption of TIBCO software.
What you will do :
Lead the proposals, contracts, licensing, and execution process for all education partnerships
Responsible for introducing software, lessons and our education program to universities, high schools and other education facilities ensuring targets are met
Utilize company tools to drive execution SFDC, Learning Portal etc.
Deliver reporting to create alignment and inform opportunities for change and growth
Work closely with TIBCO social media to promote education alliance activities
Participate in Education programs and deliver speaking engagements
Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure process and progress is met
Deliver accurate adoption planning and forecasting
Who you are :
Experience between 5-8 years overall in Global Academic Alliance marketing
Financial analysis and business acumen
Ability to plan and manage operational details of the academic alliance program
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team-oriented environment.
Ability to effectively team with technical personnel
Demonstrated ability to successfully build partnerships, channels
Able to present ideas clearly to varied audiences verbally, written, and presentations
Excellent verbal and written skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Effective interactive skills
Needs to maintain a high level of energy, integrity and enthusiasm

Four-year college degree and / or equivalent experience
Excellent computer skills, including a high level of proficiency with MS Office and CRM experience
