Job Description

You will be part of the Sleep & Respiratory Care (SRC) business group that focuses on helping people with problems while they sleep or with issues related to breathing.

  • SRC is a market leader in treating patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA); a condition affecting patients that have trouble breathing while they are sleeping and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD);
  • a chronic inflammatory lung disease that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs.

    The goal of the Ambulatory Patient Monitoring (AmPM) platform is to cross-leverage our technical strengths, assets, and knowledge across different businesses and solutions, leveraging HealthSuite Platforms and the HealthSuite Reference Architecture, to deliver a domain platform to support our existing core business and next-generation strategy in a post-COVID-19 world shifting more and more to remote healthcare.

    The AmPM domain platform team will partner with our I&S central teams to offer rich and flexible capabilities focused in the areas of IoMT, big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning, decision modeling and business process modeling, patient digital and mobile engagement.

    Key to the success of AmPM is cloud native, massively scalable multitenant architecture, supporting millions of patients, devices, and users from a single regional or per-market deployment.

    You are responsible for

  • Technical product owner develops requirements of platform components for platform engineering teams based on business and product use cases, supporting a layer of abstraction for flexibility and reusability.
  • Understands technology and software platform development practices.
  • Is responsible for defining, prioritizing, documenting and accepting stories, non-functional and functional requirements, and managing the teams’ backlog.
  • Works with business owners, architects, product management, Q&R and software leaders contributing to vision and program backlog, preparing for program increment planning and streamlining the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the respective team(s) throughout the product life cycle
  • Managing requirement change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed upon deadlines are met.
  • Prepares and participates in release planning, contributes to program increment planning, program backlog refinement, and preparation / prioritization of backlogs.
  • Drafts the team’s specific objectives for the program increment.
  • Defines iterations and stories for the team(s).
  • Builds, edits, reviews and reprioritizes the team(s) backlog, coordinating dependencies with other POs.
  • Supports team(s) with their story estimates and sequencing.
  • Facilitates and leads sprint planning and grooming sessions.
  • Coordinates with other product owners on content dependencies
  • Manages content deliverables and dependencies to external stake holders.
  • Facilitates inter-team dependencies in the respective sprints.
  • To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Minimum 8 to 10 Experience
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience working as a Software Developer (preferably Java) in an Agile Development Environment
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as a product owner
  • Knowledge of SAFe & Experience of Agile way of working
  • Team Player, High Interpersonal Skills, Collaboration Skills
