Job Summary

Timely and accurate reporting to different stakeholders e.g. senior management, shareholders, functional heads etc.

Analysis as well as reporting of the key business drivers

Preparing budget v / s actual for various functions and circulating the same to functional heads on agreed timelines

Segmental profitability analysis

Effective usage of various BI software implemented across company for business analysis,(Oracle Business Intelligence)

Initiate & drive BI reports requirements from various functions

Assist in the periodical business planning and forecasting exercises

Business Planning and Reporting

Effective usage of various BI software implemented across company for business analysis (Oracle Business Intelligence)

Preparing segmental profitability analysis, sales channels economic performance, discussion of the same with channel / function heads and ensuring proactive approach for minimal variances

Support in sales incentives, R&R calculations, marketing, IT and other costs spend through cost benefit analysis

Pro-active budgetary control; Budget v / s actual variance analysis for all functions, reporting of the same to the function heads and establishing a mechanism to control the variances

Support business managers in strategic decision making through decision support system, Cause-and-effect analysis, Business Case Analysis

Assist in preparing the annual / rolling business plan / forecasts

Minimal outstanding issues relating to BI

Accuracy and completion Reports

Adherence to agreed Reporting TATs

Minimum reporting errors

Designing & optimizing financial processes, controls and efficiency measures

Unhindered support to Planning activity

Key Relationships (Internal / External)

Internal : Intermediaries, Employees, Operations and Sales. Feedback from stakeholders, turnaround time, quality and control over reconciliation.

Preferred Skill Set

Proficiency on working on Oracle financials / ERP / Oracle Business Intelligence

Proficiency on working in MS Office (High on Excel, Word & Power Point)

High on analytical skills

Customer centricity

Excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills
