As the Head of the Sales team, you will create and execute our first go-to-market strategy, working directly with the founders and product team.

We are a venture-backed Seed-stage start-up helping companies effortlessly ship and secure new hardware products. Our secure Android OS and management cloud allow app developers and product designers to build and update without being bottlenecked by hardware development cycles.

Our founding team has over a decade of experience deploying software on new hardware at Amazon Go, AWS, Samsung, and Develop pipeline and invent / iterate on the sales playbook for our product suite

  • Research verticals that can benefit from Shoonya products and build strategies around those verticals
  • Work with marketing, SDRs, pre-sales, sales op, and customer success teams to align go-to-market message and execution
  • Work closely with our founders and product team to help influence & shape product / offering direction
  • Hire & onboard new AEs to continue expanding the team
  • Qualifications

  • You are a builder : you are joining an early-stage team and will be foundational in architecting sales strategy as well as the sales team
  • You have a passion for bleeding-edge technology : our customers are shipping brand new products or significantly updating old products.
  • You will be helping them solve problems they might not even realize they have.

  • You can think strategically : the playbook for selling this product into the right verticals has yet to be written. The role will be creative and require a deep understanding of sales strategy, not simply executing a playbook that's already tried and true.
  • You are experienced : a background in selling and delivering to global accounts & closing ELAs, as well as working collaboratively with professional services / 3rd party implementation partners is a plus.
  • You are detail-oriented : experience and skills in navigating legal, security, and procurement organizations are critical.
  • You are a communicator : you will working with Product, Marketing and Customer Success teams frequently.
  • You know how to grow a team and business : the right person will drive huge value at the company, and will quickly need more help executing (and continuing to iterate on) a sales strategy once it has been proven to work.
