Neustar has an exciting direct hire opportunity for a Salesforce Developer for our Salesforce CRM team, who will be responsible for designing and maintaining our Salesforce platform.
The successful candidate will be a Self-starter requiring minimal direction who constantly look for ways to improve the solutions for business and clients, a strong team plyer with the ability to work virtually and independently as required.
Skills and Qualifications :
5+ years of experience on Salesforce, force.com platform.
2+ years of experience on programming or scripting languages such as Java / C# or Python.
Hands on Lightning, VisualForce, Apex, Classes / Controllers, Apex Triggers development experience.
Develop solutions in a Salesforce environment utilizing the following :
Lightning interface, Lightning components, Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Visualforce Pages, Salesforce Communities, Components, SOQL, SOSL, Email Services, Outbound Messaging, SOAP API, REST API.
Experience in balancing declarative configurations vs custom development.
Ownership of all technical aspects of Salesforce.com, including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom code.
Ability to deploy salesforce configurations and customizations across salesforce environments using various deployment methods (Migration Tool, Changeset etc).

Incumbents will be evaluated, in part, based on performance of each essential function
Leverage Salesforce platform to design, develop Innovative Sales, Marketing, Customer support and other back office applications including significant work in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Lightning and application integration patterns.
Lead design discussions with users, technical and functional stakeholders to analyze Salesforce.com functional, technical, integration and data needs and clarify, refine and document requirements.
Evaluate business requirements and recommend sound solution between OOTB vs custom development approach.
Release and Environment Management including sandbox usage planning, metadata and data migration, environment comparisons and version control.
In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC application coupled with good understanding of the business processes (Sales, Marketing, Customer support etc.)
Balance project timelines and team commitments in an exciting fast paced environment.
Effectively communicate with both business and technical teams using verbal and written skills
Strictly follow the Agile development practices, particularly sprint planning and assessment.
Prioritize and work on multiple assignments simultaneously with in the sprints
Positive and enthusiastic attitude, strong dedication to customer service.
Learn quickly and adapt to ad-hoc changes in the environment.
Willingness to be "on-call" in rotation environment (evenings, weekends and / or holidays)
Work with internal and external stakeholders collaboratively.
Able to work on multiple projects against aggressive deadlines.
