  • To enter the patients name, age, sex, date, time and other particulars in Accession register.
  • To register all patients coming to the Emergency department.
  • To co-ordinate with admission counter for admitting the patients in the wards / ICCU.
  • To facilitate in transferring the patients to wards and other units of Apollo.
  • To enter the details of IP / OP requisition slips in the computer and forward it to the concerned departments.
  • To ensure that the Out patients have made the payments.
  • To enter the diet slips in the computer as per the Doctors instruction and to inform the Dietary department.
  • To enter the In-Patient number in the requisition slip and forward one copy to the concerned department and one copy to the audit department.
  • To ensure that the Medico-Legal cases are stamped with the MLC seal in all related documents / records.
  • To prepare the Billing Card in case of death during nighttime in the wards / ICU / ICCU areas.
  • To ensure that the reports are collected promptly and to inform the Doctors immediately.
  • To coordinate with the other departments and facilitate the needs of the patients.
  • To guide the attendants and visitors of the patients.
  • To ensure required stock of stationary items are maintained.
  • To follow the death procedures in case of expiry.
  • To co-ordinate with the Nurses and Doctors for all activities
  • To follow the VIP protocols in case of any VIP’s admitted in emergency.
  • To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives
  • To carryout data collection / support in data collection.
  • To adhere to the safety norms of hospital, follow both patient, and staff safety rules.
  • To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior.
