JOB SUMMARY Software engineers at Fanatics work within a product focused team to design and develop software systems to support our global business.
Using the right technologies for the task at hand, engineers are expected to contribute to the whole software development lifecycle and provide ongoing development and support to their product area.
Collaboration with colleagues in the product management, quality and software engineering teams across the world is essential to deliver value for a rapidly growing business.
This role is for a backend focused senior engineer. The successful candidate will be expected to do coding, design / architecture, and requirement brainstorming with the business team, product team and development team.
Candidate is also expected to mentor other engineers. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR? 5-8 years of solid coding experience with Java, Python or GoStrong programming and design fundamentals, problem solving and coding skillsExperience in Service Oriented Architecture system, Microservice architecture and RESTful APIsExperience in cloud-based applications / technologies, containers technology, build tools and source controlBonus points for experience in unit / integration test, gRPC and NoSQL DB(s)
