In one sentence The Software Support Specialist is a Subject Matter Expert responsible for supporting the end to end BSS product.
What will your job look like? Need to report directly to Project Lead and handle development tasks for modules which are deployed for operating Kenan Billing System.
Responsibilities fall into the following categories : BSS Billing platform integration with Telecom IT systems. You will design, develop, modify, debug and / or maintain software code and configurations according to functional, non-
functional and technical design specifications. You will troubleshoot operational issues reported in localization code base in multiple Billing & Financial modules.
You will follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes, to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, supportable and demo the software products to stakeholders You will investigate issues by reviewing / debugging code, provides fixes and workarounds, and reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
You will work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.
You will assume technical accountability for your specific work products within an application and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.
You will be encouraged to actively look for innovation and continuous improvement, efficiency in all assigned tasks. Automations & Development Enhance existing perations with new automations Conduct requirements gathering and analysis for required modules and prepare related documentations Configure and integrate a limited complexity module based on the design document Testing Conduct thorough unit testing on own configurations Conduct thorough unit testing on other’s configurations of some complexity Conduct full investigation on system anomalies Document all unit test cases, expected results and observed results Follow defect management process in identifying, investigating, and resolving defects Support integration testing All you need is Master’s / Bachelor's degree in IT / Computing or equivalent Operations & Managed Services experience in Kenan BSS Billing platform 4-
6 years of experience in development tasks integrating Kenan Billing platform Proficient knowledge in code development using C, C++, PLSQL & JAVA.
Good knowledge in automation development & DevOps tools. Experience in Agile & Scrum based development. Customer communication & Business Analysis knowledge.
Leadership qualities handling onsite & offshore teams.
