JOB DESCRIPTION OF INSURANCE TRAINEE
Various most known insurance trainee positions are trainee relationship manager, trainee insurance manager, trainee insurance officer, trainee customer service executive, trainee marketing executive, trainee actuary, trainee insurance analyst and trainee specialist.
An insurance trainee is responsible for performing several different tasks depending on the role. Primary responsibilities for various insurance trainee positions are handling incoming queries from customers or prospects, meeting and exceeding sales quotas, making actuarial calculations for insurance policies, marketing for various insurance policies of the company, providing customer service, working on the complaints or requests of customers, investigating insured properties, managing a team of insurance professionals and analyzing the insurance operations.
An insurance trainee reports to an insurance manager.
An insurance trainee should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a relevant area. Excellent communication skills are essential.
