Sr Manager / Director - Business Development

About the Role :

  • Powerupcloud is looking for confident Sales Professionals to build our sales pipeline, win deals in cloud, data, & AI space and manage enterprise account relationships.
  • He / She will be a key member of the India Sales Team, reporting to the VP - Sales and will be located in Mumbai. Occasional travel to the client locations is necessary.
  • Job Description :

  • Present Powerupcloud's services in cloud and products in AI to prospects and secure deals.
  • Should have a basic understanding of major cloud platforms - AWS & Azure.
  • Develop and acquire new customers and upsell to existing customers for new revenue opportunities.
  • Be responsible for the hands-on closing of new accounts and meeting revenue generation goals.
  • Build a strong relationship with technology partners like AWS & Azure.
  • Take the leadership role in commercial structuring, solution development & architecting guidelines, risk identification and management, and competitive assessment areas.
  • Ensure clean handover from pre-sales to appropriate service delivery resources.
  • Lead and contribute to team building and management of sales teams to achieve goals and Experience : 10+ years
  • Good understanding of cloud & IT Infrastructure Platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Deep understanding of & exposure to emerging technologies with relevant business development and delivery experience and managing profitability
  • Demonstrated the understanding of our industry, customer needs and competitive landscape
  • Strong leadership qualities through quick decision-making and change management, strong analytical ability, and the ability to drive targets
