Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Understand the controls system requirements and participate in the design phase.
Design and develop embedded hardware for various control system. Develop test firmware / software to test the embedded hardware.
Provide technical support related to control system to our field engineers. Design and develop the hardware specification and other documents as required for the project.
Coordinate with other team members and participate in the testing phase. Perform manual testing and automated testing as and when required.
Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements B.E. (Electrical(EEE) / Electronics(ECE)), MSc(Electronics).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the hardware design field. Preferred Skills and Abilities Microcontrollers : 16 / 32 bit ARM / Cortex based MCUs, DSP, DSC etc.
Hardwares : Analog, Digital, Mixed-Signal, Communication peripherals, Sensors, Memory Interfaces etc Communications : SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, RS232 / 485, USB EDA Tools : Pulsonix, ORCAD, Mentor Graphics(PADS).
Simulation Tools : PSpice, LT Spice, Modelsim. Programming Languages : C, VHDL, RTL (Xilinx, Intel FPGA). Tools : MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Excellent knowledge of analogue, digital and mixed-signal high-speed electronic circuit design.
Excellent Hands-on experience in embedded products and hardware development. Excellent hardware troubleshooting / debugging and testing embedded systems.
Hands-on experience in documentation like BOM, Design Document, Test procedures etc. Knowledge in FPGA based mixed-signal board design & RTL / VHDL Coding will be added advantage.
Experience with Industrial Automation products. Accuracy and attention to detail. Self-starter; requires little supervision.
