Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Pega 7.X SSA Certified
  • Pega PRPC v6 / 7.x development experience. Pega CLSA in v7.x
  • Java development experience
  • PMF knowledge would be a plus
  • Development experience on Unix / Linux systems
  • Good knowledge in Database programming : like SQL MySql or Oracle
  • Strong experience with Standard web and application server products, such as Apache, J2EE, JBOSS, Glassfish, WebLogic
  • Knowledge in any scripting language such as Python, Ruby, Perl, Php
  • Experience in Usability and User Interface design will be highly appreciated
  • Ability to work with latest Software Engineering methodology’s (UML, Extreme / Agile Programming, BPM etc.)
  • Analyse user requirements for development of new or improvement of existing operational software solutions.
  • Hands on development for the given requirements most of the time.
  • Participate or coordinate the definition of operational requirements for software deliveries.
  • Participate or coordinate to due diligence studies.
  • Design, architect and deliver feasibility studies and sizing for complex solutions.
  • Design and implement technical architecture for user interface, server side functionalities and re-usable components (framework).
  • Interact with operational and development groups to maintain accuracy on Amadeus architectural knowledge.
  • Identify, define and implement API for mission critical infrastructure components.
  • Design and implement data warehouse or datamining solutions if necessary.
  • Design and implement user interfaces taking into account usability standards.
  • Software development.
  • Coordinate and lead software development activity from end to end (requirement analysis, design, architecture, coding / implementation, testing, validation) with several people.
  • Conduct unit, package and performance validation of the software and ensure high level quality.
  • Coordinate the validation / acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary to finalize the product.
  • In case of incidents or problems, support and eventually coordinate the operational team diagnosis and recover from the service disruptions, report comprehensive status to management.
