time delivery is still a challengeimplying forecasting & action to achieve the projectobjectives.

Deliveringon time is deeply linked to resource and workload management. In agrowing context for Banglore, it is also strategic to put in goodadequation incoming work and level ofresources.

As Planning& Workload Engineer in Alstom Rolling Stock &Components- Bangalore, you will have opportunity to interact& work with different stakeholders from Engineering andprojectteams.

Overview :

  • Aspart of Planning & Workload Engineering team, theresponsibility will be to build and Manage the Engineeringschedule.
  • To build a specific planning for aproject in coordination with all planning stakeholders (Métier,Project, Other departments)

    To lead and coordinate the activitieswith all project stakeholders to assure the respect of commitmentsas well as evaluating schedule results andvariations.

  • Managethe workload by estimating the effort & budget, and alertcorresponding EDU managers for arbitration / actionplan
  • Specificresponsibilities of the role :

    Buildand coordinate planning :

  • to build aschedule adapted to project specificities, identify a criticalpath
  • to translate different requirements in aschedule
  • to identify the applicable processes& interfaces
  • to coordinate with Eng.Métier’s, Project, and other departments
  • toorganize and lead meetings to unblock situation and proposesolutions to meet project timelines (OTIF).
  • topromote the On-Time culture
  • Deliver on-time theKPIs (OTIF, Weekly & monthly matrices, Gate reviews GO ontime,...)
  • Ensure regular and consistentscheduling updates, with potential delays analysis and action plansproposed to the projectteam.
  • Estimateand Manage Workload :

  • SupportEngineering teams with the progress of consumption againstbudget
  • Communicate overall workload to EDUs andother stakeholders for workloadconsolidation
  • Animate the EDU staffingreviews
  • Knowledge& Experience

  • Project management andindustrial backgrounds,
  • Having good overallknowledge of railway products and systems will be anadvantage.
  • Basic understanding of technicalactivities within each engineering métier. Eg. 3D / 2D / EBOM / tools& process etc.
  • the knowledge of currentAT scheduling tools (PMS, MSP, Primavera) & good workingskill on MS office tools.
  • Good Communicationsand interpersonal skills, excellent teamworker
  • Education : Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical orElectronics & Communication Engineerprefered)
  • Language skills : Good English written and oralskills
  • Travelrequired : No.
