Amazon is seeking a curious, intuitive, high-judgment, self-motivated, and creative communications professional. As a specialist in the Operations Internal Communications team, you will work with your team to provide high quality and effective support in designing and implementing communications strategy and mechanism, develop and execute communication plans, provide content writing support, manage issues and changes.
The ideal candidate will insist on the highest standards, dive deep into details, earn trust and have a strong bias for action and sense of ownership with excellent prioritization kills.
They will possess the ability to take the initiative to complete complex tasks and projects quickly, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.
The role would suit a detail-orientated people person with a passion for storytelling and writing.
Key job responsibilities
Core job responsibilities (but, not limited to)
Conceptualize, design and implement employee communication strategies that improve consistency, reliability and usability of information delivered to employees.
Create and edit the content of communications for internal media, events, presentations, organizational e-mails, and more.
Support key company initiatives as a communication representative on a variety of internal business teams by closely working with them as consultant and provide editing / reviewing and content creation support as needed.
Create, implement and continually improve internal communication standards and process.
Coordinate with design team for conceptualizing the communication templates and packages.
Be the employee experience advocate, representing and protecting this through all strategies and decision-making.
5-6 years of writing / editing and proofreading skills, and knowledge of editorial style in corporate communications.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, or related field.
Experience with delivery on major internal communications campaigns.
Internal communications experience within a multi-national company.
Comfortable with digital and social communications platforms.
Demonstrated expertise in communicating with teams in geographically dispersed locations.
Conceptual creative thinker with a passion for writing and the willingness to learn from others.
Strong detail and deadline orientation and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
